Rick Zalek can claim more than 29 years in the Real Estate arena, as a sales associate, manager, recruiter, trainer and owner. He currently holds both an Associate Broker license from the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission and a Broker Appraiser certificate from the Pennsylvania Appraisal Board. In addition to being an Approved Real Estate Instructor, Rick still practices real estate brokerage on a daily basis. 

He has earned the GRI (Gradute Realtors® Institute), the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), the ITI (Instructor Training Institute) and the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designations from the National Association of Realtors®.

Rick is a 12 year recipient of the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors® prestigious Winners Circle award and also has earned the Professional Merit Award. 

Rick is both a current and past member of the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors® Board of Directors. Over the years, he has also served on numerous Association Committees including the School Advisory and the Finance Committees. 

Rick has spent 12 of his 21 years in education as an instructor for the Harrisburg Realtors® Institute, teaching continuing education and pre-licensing courses. He is also on the GRI faculty of the Pennsylvania Realtors® Institute. 

Rick was also recruited as a staff instructor for Pennsylvania Realtors® Institute teaching GRI courses throughout the state and has done so since 1995. 

He was also affiliated with the Real Estate Education Center located in Lancaster where he taught pre-licensing courses. 

Having owned, renovated and managed investment properties for over 25 years has also provided insight to share with his students.  

Rick instructs on what he refers to `the “Tri-L-Basis” of education and assures you will learn something.
